Born from a Bold Vision

In 2005, three Austin women — Shannon Mouser, Maya Aroch, and Laurie Aroch — came together with a shared belief: that a premier day spa should be inviting, relaxing, and — above all — unpretentious.

They opened their first location with that mission as their north star, and Austin embraced it immediately. What started as a single spa has grown into five thriving locations across Austin, Round Rock, and Dallas — all while keeping the same warmth, quality, and community spirit that made Viva a city landmark.

Fully women-owned and locally operated, Viva has never lost sight of what matters most: creating a space where every person who walks through the door feels seen, welcome, and deeply cared for.

A licensed massage therapist with over 20 years of hands-on experience, Shannon is the heart of Viva's treatment philosophy. She oversees the treatment menu, product curation, and company culture — ensuring every guest receives an extraordinary experience.
